In Loving Memory

  • Hazel

    Sex:
    Female
    Age:
    14 years

We're saddened to share that we said goodbye to Hazel yesterday, August 10, 2017.  Her health has been declining, and in many small ways, she's been letting us know that it was time. She spent her last few hours on a quiet beach with her foster parents, watching the surf and birds while eating burgers and ice cream.

  • Nellie

    Sex:
    Female
    Age:
    12 years

We would like to share sweet Nellie's #lastchance story. It does not have the ending we wanted, but we are still so so happy we were able to spend the last week loving her to pieces. 12-year-old Nellie was found as a stray and taken to the shelter.  The street is no place for an old blind and deaf pug to be, especially in the extreme heat we have had.

  • Mocha

    Sex:
    Male
    Age:
    14 years

Mocha, Pacific Pug Rescue's first Forever Foster, crossed the rainbow bridge in February 2016.

  • Rodgie

    Sex:
    Female
    Age:
    10 years

We are heartbroken to share that Rodgie passed away March 5, 2016. She was a truly unique pug.

  • Milo

    Sex:
    Male
    Age:
    12 years

We are heartbroken to let you know that Milo took a turn for the worse late yesterday and he passed away on August 9, 2016 in the loving arms of his foster mom Sharon. Milo came in with many medical issues, but thanks to your generous donations, we were able to improve his condition for the month he spent with us.

  • Tia

    Sex:
    Female
    Age:
    9 years

We are all very sad to share the news that sweet Tia had to leave us too soon. Her cancer had spread quickly and was causing her pain. She came to us in advanced stages and it was too late for treatment.

  • Elizabeth

    Sex:
    Female
    Age:
    9 years

Our hearts are heavy as we report that our dear sweet, kind, Elizabeth passed suddenly and unexpectedly on Nov 3, 2016. She became ill very quickly and despite our best efforts, we were unable to save her. While we do not know the exact cause, it is thought she developed an autoimmune response for an unknown reason, which caused her body to turn on itself.

  • Max

    Sex:
    Male
    Age:
    13 years

We would like to share with you that our sweet forever foster Max was sent off for his next adventure while eating a cheese burger and surrounded by people who loved him on May 24th, 2017.
