We're saddened to share that we said goodbye to Hazel yesterday, August 10, 2017. Her health has been declining, and in many small ways, she's been letting us know that it was time. She spent her last few hours on a quiet beach with her foster parents, watching the surf and birds while eating burgers and ice cream.
Her foster mom writes, "She was a good girl and a sassy old lady. She loved her non-pug foster brother, her foster dad, and running around when her legs worked for her. She was only with us for a few months, and we knew that she was coming here specifically to tell us when she was ready to be done. But we hope she enjoyed her time here because we enjoyed having her."
Hazel was part of our Furever Foster program. If you'd like to help out our other fosters, please consider purchasing items off our Amazon Wishlist! We keep it up to date with the general items the pugs in our care could use the most. Click here to view what we're currently in need of, and thank you!
