Hello, my name is Abby. I am a 4-year-old mix of Jack Russel(?), pug (?) and who know what else?
I am very energetic and tend to terrorize my stuffed toys until all the stuffing and squeak mechanisms are skewed all over the floor. I also like to chew on my Yak Bones. They are so very good and will entertain me for quite a while. I am good on a leash but will bark at passing dogs and humans especially when my foster brothers encourage me. I currently go on 2 to 3 walks a day and love being outside. I don’t even mind the rain! In order to be the best girl I can, I will need to have a way to burn my energy so no couch potatoes please!
I am very smart and a pretty good listener. I will require some patience as I learn the routines of my new home. When I need to go out for potty, I will go to the door and patiently wait for you to notice that I have not had any accidents inside. I would probably happily use a doggy door if I had one available.
I have had some problems with big dogs and small children so I shouldn’t be in a home with either of these stranger than strange species! I am good with mid to older teens and the pugs in my foster home. In fact, the pug in me loves racing around and playing with my pug fosters, except when taking long naps, of course! I live with a cat in my foster home and so far have just ignored her.
My foster humans make me sleep in a kennel at night but I would much rather cuddle with you in bed. The Chihuahua in me loves a good blanket to cuddle with!
I am looking for a forever home so I can share my cuteness, energy and love. I will steal your heart in very short order if given the chance.
