Meet our available adoptable dogs

Smuggy is a 3-4 year-old sweetheart with a soft soul and the biggest, most trusting eyes you’ve ever seen. Life’s been a little confusing for him, so he takes the world in gently — but with the right dog buddy by his side, Smuggy lights up like sunshine!

He’s looking for a calm, confident canine friend who can show him how great being a dog can be — walks, playtime, couch cuddles, and all the good stuff. Smuggy thrives with encouragement, patience, and a pup and family who can lead the way.

Smuggy is sensitive, silly once he warms up, and oh-so-cute. He’s not looking for chaos — just a home with heart, a little structure, and a furry mentor to help him find his spark. He loves naps, walkies and eating. He is trying to learn about toys and they seem very interesting to him.

Cleo

Cleo is a tiny, 19 pound bundle of sass. She has a face that stops traffic and Cleo loves the attention. While she is the only animal in her foster home, she is interested in meeting everyone and has done well with large and small dogs on her walks as well as the cats she has encountered.

Cleo had major airway surgery and since this, her energy has gone way up. She has become a smell connoisseur specializing in flowers and leaves.

While she loves her walks, Cleo is also an expert couch cuddler. She will follow you around everywhere unless it is to the car or a crate. She is not a fan of either. Cleo does get car sick very easily, so she will not be a good match for someone who wants a dog to road trip with them.

Abby

We may be a bit partial, but we think Abby is one of the cutest pug mixes we have seen. She also has brains to go along with that beauty!

Abby is perfectly potty trained and has done great with dogs her size and cats. She seems to have a bit of fear around bigger dogs, so a home with other smallz or as your only pet will be best. She lives with senior dogs and is very respectful, but when she gets around young dogs, she loves to play rough and rowdy.

Abby forms deep bonds with her people, but is cautious of new faces until she has time to warm up to them. Her ideal home would be a calm and predictable environment without a lot of visitors. She would do best in an adult-only home where she can relax and be her true self, as she is not a fan of the hustle and bustle of young children who may not be able to read her body language if she's uncomfortable.

Fiona

If you’ve been thinking about becoming an Emotional Support Human, Fiona would like to meet you! She loves to give hugs and kisses and follow her people wherever they go. She loves to snuggle whether it’s on the couch watching some TV, in bed at night right next to you, or chilling in a backyard hammock on a sunny spring day.

Fiona would probably do best as your one and only (definitely no cats or small animals). She has a strong prey drive and can get distracted on walks when she gets laser-focused on a neighborhood critter that has piqued her interest.

Stella

Meet Stella the eight year old bulldog, with a lot of love and loyalty for her human companions.

Her favorite things include; strolls around the neighborhood (0.75-1.0 miles), bully sticks, sunbathing, fruit, snuggling on the couch, following you around the house and welcoming you home.

As the chief rat catcher of our house, she demonstrates a need for a home free of cats and smaller pets. She has been to doggy daycare once and had a play date with an older German Shepherd with success. She is willing to meet other large animals in an off leash environment to see if they get along, she can be a little frisky on a leash.
