Meet Tunni, a 13-year-old sweetheart who proves that being a senior doesn’t mean you’re done having adventures!
Tunni is friendly, affectionate, and wonderfully easygoing. She loves people, gets along great with other dogs, and is happiest simply being part of whatever her humans are doing. She still has plenty of pep in her step and loves going for walks and exploring, but she’s equally enthusiastic about the finer things in life... snuggling on your lap, watching TV, and accepting as many belly rubs as you’re willing to give.
She’s potty trained, does well in the car, has a healthy appetite, and settles comfortably into everyday life. Tunni really is that lovely combination of senior sweetness and youthful spirit - old enough to appreciate a good cuddle, but still young at heart when it’s time for an adventure.
At 13, Tunni isn’t looking for somewhere to simply spend her golden years. She's looking for someone to share them with. And she still has an awful lot of love, walks, belly rubs, and happy days to give.

Rhonda is a 9 year old pug, surrendered recently as her family was moving. Her foster family reports she immediately inserted herself into their daily routines, enjoys an afternoon stroll, and sleeps peacefully throughout the night.
She learned to use the doggy door on day one and has not had any potty mishaps in the home. It is fun watching her launch herself onto the furniture to steal a warm lap or snuggle up to her foster brother.
In true pug form, she has a hearty appetite and loves to watch her dinner being prepared. If the human is too slow, she gives a gentle "woof" to speed up. Her antics are always good for a laugh.
If you are looking for a calm funny pug to join your family, Rhonda is a winner!

Coming in at 59% pug and only 28% Chihuahua you might think the pug genes would be dominant...but the Chi is definitely the dominant breed with this fine gentleman! The Chi is Strong!!!
Polo is a 3 year old boy that originally came from Mexico. He was surrendered recently for not getting along with another dog in the home. Polo actually really likes other dogs and is very social with them. Polo bonds very closely with his owner and the trouble comes when he is required to share that love, so being your one and only may suit him best. Although if you have some basic dog handling skills and can give Polo boundaries he could live harmoniously with another dog. Either way, Polo does like meeting other dogs and does great doing so.
Polo is on the more anxious side...again thank the Chihuahua in him! He would do best in an active home that will take him for walks and help him burn some of his energy. Being with you is Polo's main goal in life, if you are with him, he is happy!
Polo is potty trained and can use a doggy door. He also is crate trained and does fine in the crate when left alone. Polo does like to communicate through "talking" whether that be a bark, whine or grumble. He is very smart and VERY food motivated so keeping him busy and learning will make him a happy boy.
If you love a Chug, but tend to favor and understand the Chihuahua breed, this boy will be a perfect match for you.

My name is Sergio. I'm a big bundle of handsome joy waiting for someone who needs me to light up their life!
I am a very affectionate 2 year old boy. I love dogs, and to cuddle with my people. I'm learning to play with toys and to walk on a leash. I love car rides, dog parks and any adventure. Did I mention I love to cuddle?
No one spent much time with me in my first 2 years of life, so I am learning about everything! I can be nervous at first, but if you are patient I will catch on quickly.
If you are looking for lots of pug cuddles and kisses, I'm your guy!

Attention! Monchiez is a special needs dog, please take the time to research his condition and make sure you understand his needs before applying!
Monchiez spent his first 2 yrs as a breeding dog. We realized quickly after he arrived that he had something that was not quite right. Everytime after he would eat he would regurgitate his food and water. Testing has revealed that he has megaesophagus.
Luckily the treatment for this is quite simple...Monchiez will need to stay upright after eating for about 30 minutes. He loves to snuggle with you on the couch, so it has been very easy to manage this. There are also special chairs you can buy that keep him upright, but so far it seems this may not be necessary. This will be a lifelong issue and may require additional care at times.
Monchiez loves his person and his favorite thing to do is be with you. He is very calm for a young guy and is very easy going. He can get along very well with other animals in the house or be your one and only.
Monchiez is a normal pug in every other way and as long as you are able to put in a bit more extra time when feeding, he will be a wonderful addition to your home.

Yoda came to us from a Southern Oregon shelter after being found as a stray. He was most likely used for breeding then discarded when health issues came around. His biggest issue is the large polyps blocking his ear canals. He needs major surgery to get his ears fixed with TECA (total ear canal abalation) surgery that will cost us over 15k. If you are able to donate to his extensive care, we'd appreciate it!
He is a very sweet and loving boy, who seems very grateful for his second chance.

At just 4 years old, Athena came to us from Tijuana, Mexico. Athena was found near death from starvation and tick disease along with both eyes ulcerated and we agreed to take her in. She spent several weeks being cared for in Tijuana where she built her strength up and arrived to Oregon feeling much better. She has been spayed and had one of the damaged eyes removed for her comfort. Despite all she has been through, she is a happy and well-adjusted girl. Athena has one more hurdle to work through: both of her knees are luxating and she will require specialty surgery to fix them. Once that is done we know she will be unstoppable!
