Hi, my name is Annie. Or at least that’s the name I was given when I first got here. Before that, I lived in a puppy mill and I didn’t have a name, I only had a number. But that’s okay because I am so happy to be here in Oregon, where I am being treated like a princess!
I’m estimated to be only about 1 1/2 years old, so I’m still basically a puppy!
My favorite thing to do is cuddle in my foster mom‘s lap or stretch out by the fireplace! I also love to snuggle up to her in bed too, so as you can see, I’m a snuggle bug!
I love to play with toys and with my new golden retriever big sister here where I live. I’ve had a couple of tiffs with one of the other small dogs in the house, so the people at PPR think I would do best as the only dog in the household.
As for cats, there are two of them here where I’m living, and I find them fascinating! Once they got used to me, we are friends now, so I should be just fine with cats!
I have quickly learned how to use a dog door, which I think is so cool! However, my foster mom says I still need to learn that that’s what I use to go outside and go potty, so I’m still trying to connect those dots! Right now it’s still a work in progress, but I’m getting there! In the meantime, I do use pee pads!
I know it looks like I have very short hair, but that’s just because when I was liberated from the puppy mill, the rescuers bathed and shaved my hair, so I will be fluffier when it all grows back! And my long tails curls up over my back, so I’m sure it will grow out long as well and be really cute!
I am now up-to-date on all my vaccines and I just got spayed. The vet did, however, diagnose me with a chronic case of cuteness, and everyone who meets me, totally agrees! Do you?
