Cody

Cody
Approx. 5-years
Adoption Donation $500

Cody came to us from a craigslist ad being given away for free. We don't know the full story, but he was very dirty, smelled like livestock, was scared and seemed like he had never really been exposed to anything.

You know that expression" Were you raised in a barn?" We think Cody could definitely answer that with a resounding YES.

Despite all of that Cody is very brave and has learned to start trusting quicker than we expected! Within a few hours of being in a house he seemed overwhelmed with happiness, running from bed to bed, going up to humans to get pets, smelling the grass...he didn't know where to start!

We think Cody is going to become a wonderful dog for someone. He will need some patience with potty training and he is very fearful of being handled for grooming or vet care. When you go to pick him up he just drops to the ground and trembles. He is extremely loving though and you can tell all he wants is to share some of his good pug lovin!

Cody loves other dogs and is very playful with them. He also has done fine with the cats in the home. We think he would do great with respectful children.

Cody was neutered and had many abscessed teeth removed so he is as good as new! Someone will be so lucky to welcome this boy into their home and continue to show him about the good life!🐾
