Meet Malibu, the sweetest little pug with a heart full of love and resilience. After a tough start as part of the “Feral 5,” living outside with little human interaction, she’s blossomed into an affectionate, playful, and spirited companion.
Malibu adores her people and bonds deeply, finding comfort and joy in their presence. While she’s still learning to trust new situations, her progress is incredible. While she does not like to be picked up, she loves cuddling by your side, giving hand kisses, and being involved in whatever you’re doing.
This saucy girl shines during playtime, especially with dog friends who enjoy her enthusiastic game of chase. She needs a confident, playful dog sibling who can match her energy and share snuggles. Her favorite game is chase and she has developed many strategic moves to keep the game interesting! If Malibu is not winning she will let out an epic battle cry that stuns her opponent long enough for her to tackle them and win the game.
If she’s not napping or playing with her friends, she likes to be with her people. Yard work, cooking, housework, it doesn’t matter, she just likes being included. She’s also a big fan of toys and can keep herself busy.
Malibu will prefer a family that is home more often than not. Leaving the safety of her known environment can be really scary so she will probably never be a dog that wants to go everywhere and into new situations all the time. Her perfect home will be consistent, quiet and not have too much action. She definitely needs some friendly, confident and playful pups. The most important attribute of her new family will be patience, kindness and understanding of how to push her further into progressing without overwhelming her. It will take work but it will be so worth it because this girl will love you with her whole heart!
