​​​You will not meet a sweeter kinder pug than 10 yr old Max! Max came to us after his owner passed away, he unfortunately had not had good vet care for his entire life. He had some breathing issues when he first came in, which we were hopeful would improve after airway surgery. They did get better, but Max still has episodes that put him in the hospital that are most likely tracheal collapse. He is doing well in his foster home and they are very experienced with dealing with this issue, so they will keep him comfortable and happy for as long as possible! Max is a momma's boy, and whenever she sits down he is there immediately wanting to sit on her lap. He loves going for walks, but unfortunately he does not have much stamina, they make sure he gets out in the cool weather, and he has a back up stroller ready at all times! Max loves his food and when he feels it is time to eat, he will do a cute chomping motion with his mouth to demand you get up and feed him! He also likes to do a bucking bronc imitation when he gets really excited or mad and no one does a better sea lion sound than Max! We are so happy to be able to give Max a loving safe home for whatever time he has left, he is a wonderful senior pug!
