Ringo is a 2-year-old pug with a heart full of love and a story of resilience. He joined the rescue on Memorial Day 2024 as part of the "Wonky Leg" crew. His back legs were deformed, but thanks to surgery and lots of care, Ringo can now move around freely and is ready to embrace his new life to the fullest.
Ringo’s journey isn’t entirely over, though—his back legs will need some continued aftercare. This includes regular stretching and strengthening exercises to help him stay comfortable and mobile. Down the road, Ringo might also need medication to manage any discomfort or mobility challenges that arise. His ideal family will be committed to supporting him as he continues to heal and thrive.
Despite his past challenges, Ringo is a joyful pup who loves to play with toys, well-mannered doggy friends and chase anything running through your backyard. His enthusiasm is contagious, especially when he greets you with happy barks as you walk through the door. After the excitement, he’s quick to settle into cuddle mode, showing just how much he adores being near his humans.
A bit quirky, Ringo has a knack for turning fluffy beds into confetti and enjoys relocating shoes around the house—it’s all part of his charm! He’s still young and would thrive in a quiet but active home that can give him plenty of playtime, walks, and a safe space for zoomies.
Ringo can be a little shy when meeting new people and exploring new places, so he’ll need a family that’s patient and willing to help him grow his confidence through slow introductions. With time and love, Ringo’s loyal and affectionate nature will shine brightly.
