Forever Home Highlights

Helping the dogs that come into our care find loving, forever homes is at the heart of everything we do here at Pacific Pug Rescue. It’s always a joy to see our dogs get adopted and become alumni. Hearing how they are  thriving with their new families, surrounded by the love and care they deserve is why we volunteer. We’re excited to share some of their stories and updates with you. Check out how some of these amazing dogs are doing in their forever homes. Have an update you'd like to share? Email us! We'd love to hear from you!

Sally (now Tula) was rescued in Mexico and through our important partnerships with other rescues, was sent to the Pacific Northwest to find her forever home. What a journey!

From her mom:
"One year ago you helped bring Sally, now Tula into our lives. We feel so lucky to have her. She is a happy, fun girl who loves to play fetch. She makes a cute little meow sound when she yawns. She is an excellent traveler and loves to go on hikes with us. Everyone who meets her falls in love with her and her fan club grows everyday. Thank you for the work you do and please know that Tula is loved and adored in our home. "

We've been in the fan club for a while and are so happy to hear she's doing so great!

Gumbo (Now Zeus) was found abandoned and then sent to our rescue for some much needed TLC and a fresh start. After a neuter and surgery for his cherry eye, he found the perfect home with his new mom Catherine.

From his mom:
"Thanks again for connecting me with such a sweet guy, his true personality has blossomed and he’s so goofy and mischievous sometimes, but I imagine it’s because he feels more safe 😂😂😂. When he first came he was a bit afraid of all the noises and the MAX and things he didn’t recognize but now he walks around the neighborhood like he owns the place. Our daily walk consists of him stopping by our neighborhood taphouse for a treat, plant shop for a treat, and then coffee shop for a treat and sometimes pup cup."

Sounds like the perfect life to us!

Tesla came to us as a 6 month old puppy. He was very popular (duh!) and found his home with Emily and Anthony. He's grown up so quickly already but we hear still has his puppy energy about him.

From his parents:
"Bosco has been a welcome addition to our fur family and is currently a year and a half. He has loads of energy and kisses to give everyone. Some of his favorite things are eating, playing with his big sister Sophie, and chewing his Yak cheese during those calm moments. This year has been a whirlwind and we can't wait until he stops being so stubborn and goes potty outside every time. 😂
Bosco is the sweetest boy and we're so grateful that we were chosen as his fur parents.

Rosie came to Pacific Pug Rescue with her mom and sister completely terrified of everything and finding the perfect patient home for her took a bit of time, but oh was it worth it!

From her mom:
"She’s adapting beautifully to our family and showing more of her personality each day. She’s so loving, asks for cuddles, and is incredibly playful. She’s also super smart — she figures out all her puzzle toys in no time! It's been a joy to see her grow more confident.
At home, she’s been bonding a lot with Capitu (sometimes even trying to lie on top of her — Capitu is not always thrilled, haha!). And she’s getting closer to Fe too, which is really sweet to watch.
Because she’s feeling more secure and attached, we’re now working on her separation anxiety. She cries quite a bit when we leave, so we’ve started gently helping her through that — one step at a time.
Oh, and I’ve even been in touch with her mama! Can you imagine a little family reunion someday? Haha 🥰
Thanks again for being such a meaningful part of her journey. It means a lot. 💛

Caju truly found her perfect family, like we knew she would.
