If you’ve been thinking about becoming an Emotional Support Human, Fiona would like to meet you! She loves to give hugs and kisses and follow her people wherever they go. She loves to snuggle whether it’s on the couch watching some TV, in bed at night right next to you, or chilling in a backyard hammock on a sunny spring day.
Fiona would probably do best as your one and only (definitely no cats or small animals). She has a strong prey drive and can get distracted on walks when she gets laser-focused on a neighborhood critter that has piqued her interest.
She was found as a stray in Mexico, so we don’t know anything about her prior to a few weeks ago. Chilly Oregon rain was definitely something new for her! She’s missing an eye and is mostly blind in the other. She’ll need life-long drops, but her blindness doesn’t seem to slow her down! She has learned the layout of her foster home and how to use the stairs to the couch and ramp to the bed. She enjoys short walks and is getting better at walking with the leash. She is also mastering her “sit” and learning that outside is for pottying (she does well when she is taken out every few hours). Because of her FOMO she would love someone who is home a lot to ease her separation anxiety (mostly just sad cries of a lonely girl) and give her all the cuddles she deserves and desires. 🐾
