Gunner

Gunner
7-Years Old

Gunner was taken to the shelter to be euthanized because he had diarrhea and was losing weight. Sadly his family didn't even take him to a vet to find out why.

We were happy to take in Gunner and see if we could get him more comfortable. Through Ultrasounds, CT scans and a specialist we have found that Gunner has some GI disease and also a large liver tumor. Right now we are treating his GI disease and consulting with specialists about having surgery on the tumor.

The good news is he is feeling much better since we started a special diet and medication for his GI problems.

Gunner is such a happy dog. He loves his ball more than anything. One thing for sure is he has a lot of life left in him and he is taking advantage of this second chance at his life.

Gunner's treatment is costing a lot of money, but we are grateful that we are able to give him more time and a good quality of life thanks to our supporters who donate to our seniors in the forever foster program.

Donations to Gunner help us cover his special food, medications and specialist visits.
